Writing With Passion
Chapter 6 ~ Nadir
“What’s going on?” Max whispered to Nelson while holding Mei.
“Take Mei through the shortcut to your house. If they see her passed out like that, it will be bad,” Nelson explained.
“Oh hell no! You are not taking my friend through no secret nothing. I don’t know you!” Cora snapped.
“Look, you have to get your car. Max, I will bring your truck; just give me your keys,” Nelson ordered. “Cora, follow me…trust me!” he ended.
Max tossed Nelson his vehicle’s keys. While Nelson and Cora made it to their cars, Max carried Mei through the shortcut behind two houses. He tried his best not to shake her too much, but the disaster was inevitable.
Max jerked back as he felt Mei’s body lunge forward towards his chest. Then there was that unmistaken hot, slimy goo, oozing down his chest. Mei briefly moaned and then fell unconscious. Max shuddered, then laughed to himself. “Well, I wanted to be with her,” he murmured jokingly.
He made it back to his house expecting to see Nelson and Cora waiting for them in the driveway, but they weren’t there. He laid Mei on an outdoor lounge chair, near the front door of his home. Max looked down at his shirt and back at Mei. They were both covered in vomit.
“Mei,” he called, gently tapping her shoulder.
He didn’t feel comfortable about how relaxed she appeared. He called out her name, louder; again no answer. Max sat her up and shook her a little. Still no response. Panic set in; Max swooped her up, carrying her into his home, up to his bedroom. He gently placed her down on the closed toilet seat of his private bathroom, carefully balancing her as he reached over to turn on the cold shower. He removed her shoes and socks, making sure not to remove anything else. No matter how tempting it might have been, he respected her and wanted it to be mutual.
Fully dressed, he picked her up, and stood in the shower with her, making sure the cold water was hitting her. He eagerly rinsed the vomit from her hair and clothing while sternly calling out her name.
Slowly, Mei started to come back to life. She instantly began to fight him. With her eyes still closed, she faced him, pounding on his chest, screaming, “NO!” and trying to get away from him.
“Mei, open your eyes,” he gently requested, holding her firmly, not wanting her to fall. “It’s me, Max. I won’t hurt you…it’s okay,” Max spoke, absorbing her blows. He gently but firmly embraced her, tenderly kissing her forehead.
Mei’s eyes slowly opened, her eyes fixated on his chest. She slowly looked up at Max, and their eyes met. She had never felt emotions like this before. Mei wanted to be in his embrace forever. He gently spoke to her. The masculine vibrations of his voice soothed her. Mei’s lips began to tingle as if electricity were pulsating through them. She found herself pulling at his shirt.
Max assumed the remnants of vomit on his shirt were bothering her. He obediently pulled his shirt over his head, throwing it out of the shower. "I'm sorry. You threw up when I was carrying you," Max loudly spoke over the water, but it seemed as if Mei was not listening to him. Her presence felt seductively alien as her small fingers gently rested on his bare chest.
She wondered what it would be like to make love with someone like this. His skin was so velvety soft, and he felt warm, safe and loving. A single tear rolled down her cheek.
I can’t let him win…this is my choice, she thought.
It was as if Max read her thoughts. He gently lifted her chin and kissed her cheek where a teardrop had fallen. The tears then flooded Mei's face as she clutched him. She refused to let him go. She felt so secure in his arms.
“Hey, don’t cry! I know I'm ugly,” he joked.
“Make love to me,” Mei whispered, looking into his beautiful, grey eyes. Her heart was pounding. She could not believe what she was saying but refused to take it back; she meant every word.
Max froze; he could not believe is ears. She’s just downright drunk! he thought. She doesn't understand what she is asking me and she doesn't know how hard it would be for me to tell her ‘no.’
He didn't want her to think that he would take advantage of her. He felt privileged enough to be holding her in his arms. He couldn't believe his luck, to be this close to someone he had admired for years.
“Mei…I don’t want to take advantage of you,” Max softly replied, pulling her close as she trembled from the cold shower
“You’re not, Max…I want this…I would never blame you,” Mei cried. "I just...." Mei refused to finish that thought out loud. I just don't want my first time to be with my stepfather, she thought, sobbing more. Mei rested her head on Max's firm chest, shivering under the water; however, the cold water was helping to ease her nausea.
“Mei…” Max began.
“I just want to know what it feels like to be made love to,” Mei interrupted deeply looking into his grey eyes. She didn't even recognize herself. She was pleading with a guy she barely knew to take her virginity, speaking as if he already loved her. Am I being pathetic? she asked herself.
Max was speechless, I do love her…I always have, he argued with himself. Max had fallen in love with Mei from the first day he had discovered her at the youth center. She was like an angel, a beautiful angel that was sent to earth on a mission, but the world tore her apart to the point that she felt like a defiled and desecrated vessel, no longer useful for her purpose.
Max didn't understand what could cause her to feel that way about herself; however, he did know a lot about evil and how it destroyed. I won't allow it to destroy this vessel, Max silently promised as he gazed into Mei's emerald green eyes. I do love her, he thought as he held her close.
Emotions filled with love and passion overpowered his body as he began to kiss her soft lips. They both grabbed each other, tearing apart each other’s clothing until there was none. Max admired her feminine muscles that sat perfectly on her hourglass frame. Her long hair, drenched in water, hung in waves down her back. Max was astonished by her beauty, especially her full breasts.
Mei couldn't take her eyes off of Max. His muscles seem to be beckoning to her, saying, “Touch me...feel me.”
Mei felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she thought about what lay ahead. She didn't want to think about tomorrow. Mei didn't know he would be banging down her door after tonight.
Guys like him are only looking for sex, Mei thought, and she did not want Max coming after her just for sex; yet, she was intent on getting rid of her virginity on her own terms. Thomas would not rob her of this. Mei would make sure this was a night to remember.
Max picked her up straddling her legs around him. He turned around, still holding her securely. The cold water was pounding on his sleek, muscular back. Max looked down into her eyes and gently kissed her lips. "Are you ready?" he whispered.
Mei was now nervous, second-guessing if she was about to do the right thing. It was too late now. Her head, which seemed to be thinking of something else, nodded in approval. Max took that as a well-needed approval, and he dove into her tightness. Mei yelped in pain as Max jumped, apologizing repeatedly. Mei kissed him to let him know she was okay. She then groaned, sending Max insane with passion.
Before they knew what had happened, both lay naked on the bottom of the shower, the cold water still running. Max stretched over Mei, reaching for a towel to cover her shivering body. He turned off the shower and held Mei as she drifted off to sleep. Max gently dried off her slender frame admiring her curves and mounds. He didn't want to let go of her. His eyes grew heavy as she curled up on his chest.
An hour later Max was awoken by a gasp.
“Max!” Nelson exclaimed, shocked to see his naked friend sleeping in the shower stall with a partially exposed Mei.
“What did you do?” Nelson whispered loudly, eyes wide with shock.
“Shh!” Max exclaimed, waving for Nelson to get out.
“Damn, this is one hot house Max has got,” Cora expressed loudly, coming into the room.
Nelson quickly ran out to meet her at the bedroom door. “Can I give you a tour?” Nelson asked, gently leading her away.
Max lifted Mei out of the shower, grabbing clean towels to dry her off. He laid her on his king size bed, beneath the sheet and blanket. He dressed and then ran into his parents’ master bedroom.
“Good thing they're never here at night…too busy being swingers to be decent parents,” Max grumbled.
He grabbed a pair of designer jeans four sizes too small for his now, large framed mother, and a tight, fitted t-shirt also a size much too small for her. He rushed back to his room. While he was quickly dressing Mei, gently coaxing her to wake up, Max rubbed her arms and noticed deep cuts on her left. “What happened here?” he murmured. Max had never before seen scars like that. Maybe she was in a car accident, he concluded.
By the time he heard Cora and Nelson arguing in the hall, walking towards his room, Mei was awake. They stood to hold each other, gently rocking back and forth. Cora burst through the door, coming to an abrupt stop. Her jaw dropped as she gawked in utter amazement. This bliss was a side of Mei she had not seen; she seemed at peace with herself.
“Okay, what is going on?” Cora sternly questioned while stepping in front of Max, making sure he had eye contact with her.
“Hey, Cora,” Mei stumbled, turning to face her friend.
Cora’s mouth dropped. “Where is your bra?” Cora exclaimed.
“Oh, nothing. I…I…I…got sick,” Mei explained walking away. “Look nothing happened…Max has been the perfect gentleman,” she quickly added.
“Sure,” Cora snorted. “Whose clothes are you wearing?” She continued the interrogation. “Your girlfriend’s?” she grilled, staring into Max’s eyes.
“No, It’s my mom’s…” Max began to explain.
“We should go; it’s almost five in the morning,” Mei interrupted, changing the subject. She didn't want to think of Max having a girlfriend. At the same time, she felt guilty, remembering back earlier in class when he was arguing with Taisha.
Crap! Mei thought to herself. She felt guilty for having sex with a guy who was seeing someone else.
"What was I thinking?" Mei mumbled.
Somehow, Max overheard. He turned in her direction. "I don't have a girlfriend," Max protested to her.
Mei didn't want to hear it. All men are dogs. They're no good, and he's just going to say what I want to hear so that he could get seconds, Mei summed up in her mind. Quickly, she changed the subject.
“What took you guys so long?” Mei asked while sitting on the bed to put on her shoes.
“You would not believe that they gave everyone who drove a sobriety test,” Cora and Nelson explained.
“It was crazy!” Nelson expressed, frustrated.
“Mei, let me take you home,” Max requested, turning to face her.
Mei stood, shoes on. Her trick seemed to work on everyone else except him. Mei smirked as she held her head down. She walked over to him not wanting to get too close. She didn't want to make it seem as if she were trying to be his girlfriend. She had promised herself that he was not going to hurt her. She had accomplished the gratifying experience she had wanted, and now she was going to lock her heart and body up so that no man could touch her again.
“Max…I think I did enough damage to you tonight,” Mei jokingly replied as she begins to walk past him.
Max reached out and pulled her into his loving embrace. “Please?” he whispered. “I just want to make sure you’re all right,” he explained. “We should talk too,” he added.
Max was ordinarily responsible, especially when it came to sex. This was the first time he had ever done something like this and not used protection. He needed to talk to her to let her know that if something did happen, he would be happy to be there for her. What was more prominent, he wanted her to see that he was crazy for her, that he had been dreaming of this moment for years.
Mei glanced back into his genuine, loving gaze and said, “God doesn’t give us more than we can handle,” she smiled. “Isn’t that right, Cora?” Mei lightly questioned, looking over at her friend who stood with her arms folded.
“Yeah, Honeybee, let’s go,” Cora snapped as she made her way out of the bedroom door.
“I better go looks like I'm in trouble,” Mei joked, pulling away from Max.
“Can I call you?” he pleaded, following her out the door.
“Ah, I…I…am not sure…” Mei nervously replied. She didn’t want him to find out about her twisted home life. She also didn't want to be one of those chicks practically putting her phone on a shrine, praying to the cell phone gods for some guy to call.
“Come on, or I will have to stalk you,” Max teased. He was not giving up, and he was not letting go.
“Okay,” Mei sighed. “555-0143!” Mei blurted before rushing out and flying down the stairs to the front door.
She lied and gave him a fake number. Mei was not taking a chance on worrying if he would call her or not; however, Max held onto each number as if his life depended upon it.
Nelson stood back in shock. “I can’t believe you, man!” he stated, eyes wide.
“She is special, Nelson. I never felt this way before,” Max replied.
“It’s puppy love. We don’t know anything about true love,” Nelson retorted.
Max walked over to his bed and relaxed, absorbed with his thoughts of all that had happened that night. Mei was like no other, and he couldn't wait to see her again. It would be a challenge for him to sleep tonight.
“So, that Cora!” Nelson blurted.
“Are you kidding me?” Max laughed. “She may be just the girl to cool you down.
