I will never forget the day I finally decided to pick up the pen again and write a book. I wrote stories in middle school for fun; I had an entire handwritten series that my friends would read and love. But, I stopped writing the summer of my freshman year of high school because I felt that my stories did not have life experience. I began to feel like I was telling the same story over and over.
I didn't pick up the pen again until I was in my thirties. Now a housewife with two angels, I found myself home alone in the day with a ton of artistic energy, yet bored with my current artwork, which was beading and jewelry making. Something was nagging at my spirit, coaxing me towards our desktop computer. I spoke with my sister about what was going on, and she urged me to write. So I took on the task, and the rest is history. Eleven years later, here I am encouraging and helping others to write their book because I believe that everyone has a book in them, at least one.
